•Ningbo New Countryside Development Project - Rural Wastewater Management is to improve the rural environment quality and to reduce water pollution by building onsite wastewater treatment facilities in 150 villages.

•Project Scope: design, build and operate 150 villages onsite facilities including sewers, plants, constructed wetland, etc
•Project Cost: USD 60 million
•Implementation Period: Apr. 2011 - Apr. 2016
•Highlights: The program gained experiences for improving public health and living quality of rural communities and protection of watershed through cost effective, and easy maintenance technologies of onsite wastewater treatment facilities.
•ESD China undertaking: design review, bid evaluation, project management, project monitoring, site visit, acceptance inspections, O&M arrangement, etc.
